In line with the discourse on the digital transformation of academic research and teaching, the need for stronger cooperation is increasing. Especially in third-party funded research projects, specific knowledge of digital humanities and non-Latin scripts can rarely be shared within the organisation and project tools and platforms can often not be maintained longer than for the duration of the project. One solution could be to include information infrastructure facilities such as libraries or data centres. However, these institutions are usually not able to support all languages and disciplines. The article shows practical examples of cross-institutional collaboration and the approach of an expert network on non-Latin scripts in multilingual environments.
