Coffe Lectures, Information LiteracyAbstract
The library of the German Historical Institute Paris has been regularly organizing Coffee Lectures since spring 2018. This article provides an insight into the experiences with such a format at a humanities research institute in an international context. These Coffee Lectures are aiming at a small and specialized target group and offer an exchange on questions dealing with practical aspects of research activities, especially during the doctoral and post-doctoral phases. They are intended to support the acquisition of new skills in the use of digital tools and to raise awareness of the opportunities and challenges of doing digital history.
