Die Rolle des Open Access Monitor Deutschland bei der Antragstellung im DFG-Förderprogramm „Open-Access-Publikationskosten“

With the support of the DFG open access publishing programme, publication funds were established in many places between 2010 and 2020 and financial flows were reorganized. On the one hand, the DFG “Open Access Publication Funding” programme, which came into effect in 2021, opens up new options for the use of funds. On the other hand, it places increased demands on the application process due to the even stronger emphasis on structure formation. To support the application process, new functions have been implemented in the open access monitor for Germany that make the necessary data collection much easier. They make it possible, for example, to easily survey the publication output among different publishing houses.
