Abstract

This report summarises the results of a hands-on lab event on the topic " Where do the margins begin, where do they end? How to actively support the work in public libraries? The event, organised by the expert circle "Media at the Margins" (MadR), aimed to address the uncertainties and challenges public libraries face when working with controversial authors, works and events and what they often lack. About 60 participants worked out which supporting information, methods and best practice examples can support and facilitate the work of public libraries at the margins of the opinion spectrum.
