Ein Praxisbericht zum neuen DFG-Förderprogramm „Open-Access-Publikationskosten“

Abstract

In 2022, the framework to support open access with publication funding at Universitätsbibliothek Marburg changed. The Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft announced the funding programme "Open Access Publication Funding" that requires significantly expanded publication monitoring. Open access monographs became eligible for funding for the first time. This report describes how Universitätsbibliothek Marburg has implemented the funding requirements and how publication funding has developed in 2022. In addition to the successes achieved, the existing challenges, for example in the areas of affiliation checks and research funding acknowledgements, are discussed.
